About Us
The Newcomer Center is a specialized English Language Development program in our school district for brand new immigrant and refugee students. The program serves all students, ages 14-21, from across our district who have been in the United States for three months or fewer and have a language acquisition level of 1 or lower.
The Newcomer Center is an amazing place to be. Students from all over the world come together in our classroom to learn English, to share our cultures and experiences, and to ease into life, as high school students in the United States.
The purpose of this site is for us to practice English and to share our cultures and experiences with others.
